OVERVIEW

Care for Carers services are open to all members of the public who look after a friend, relative, spouse loved one or partner as an unpaid carer. All adult carers (over 16) are welcome to join our organisation by going on our membership or mailing list at any time. The caring situation could be anything from caring for a child with a disability to caring for frail elderly parents and anything in between.

There is no membership fee.

BENEFITS

As a member, you will receive our monthly newsletter with all of our up-to-date information, listings of our current services and meetings, as well as information from other groups and organisations across the city.

BECOMING A MEMBER

The easiest way to join us is to complete our online application. Once we have received this we will add you to our membership list. Alternatively, you can email or post our standard application form or go to the Contact Us page and get in touch using whichever method is easiest for you; we will do the rest.

If you live in the north of Edinburgh and would prefer to talk to a support worker one-to-one, this can be arranged. We are happy to talk to people on the telephone but you may need to leave a message if we are not in the office when you call; we will get back to you asap so do leave your telephone number.
