Walking Group – Dalkeith Country Park

Just a few miles from the city centre, Dalkeith Country Park is an 1,000-acre park with extensive walking routes and beautiful scenery across its landscape, including the River Esk. Owned by the Buccleuch family, the park features outstanding architecture, while the Old Oak Wood has trees over 900 years old. The area is humming with wildlife such as roe deer, otters, badgers and buzzards.

After our stroll we will have refreshments at the park cafe. Minibus transport will be provided, alternatively you can make your own way there.
